Judging IDEAS

This week, I'll be at MIT, judging the IDEAS competition for social entrepreneurs.

The technologies tend to fall mostly (although by no means exclusively) into three categories:

• Medical devices
• Environmental technologies
• Support mechanisms for organizing resources (funds-microcredit, volunteer efforts, etc.)
  

There were also a few ideas for improvements in habitat and agriculture.
