Environmental Entrepreneurship

Yes, it has been months since I had posted.

I was on the road for most of the time, conducting workshops and seminars, and attending meetings about the commercialization of technologies.

A fascinating hot area for many social entrepreneurs appears to be environmentally-friendly technologies. Cleantech Venture Network organizes forums for entrepreneurs seeking funding for the development of environmentally-friendly technologies. They are a growing and thriving organization, and some of the companies presenting at their forums offer some fascinating leading-edge solutions.

The founder of Cleantech is also the chair of e+Co, which aims to "bring together technology, people and funding to create viable local enterprises that deliver affordable and clean energy to those in need." Definitely a cool example of social entrepreneurship.
